Having started the New Year in extravagant style with a 5-0 victory over Motherwell, Hamilton Accies went into their game at St. Johnstone knowing that a victory would see them with two victories from two games in 2015. Tony Andreu scored the only goal of the game, which was enough to see off the home side as a result of another Accies clean sheet. Sunday's victory moves Accies level on points with Celtic and solidifies their position in 3rd in the Scottish Premiership ahead of Dundee Utd and Inverness.
Elsewhere, BSC Glasgow suffered defeat on a tricky away day at East Kilbride, leaving them in 8th place in the Scottish Sun Lowland League with 18 points from 14 games. BSC Glasgow will now welcome Gala Fairydean Rovers on the 10th January as they continue to battle for victories.
East Fife FC were unable to get a run out against Elgin City on the 3rd January as their match was postponed. They will face Queen's Park on January 10th in their next Scottish League Two fixture.
